Inside, four serene bedrooms offer ultimate comfort, including two distinct primary suites, all equipped with automated blackout shades for a perfect night's rest. This dual-suite arrangement is a true differentiator for ultimate privacy and luxury. The open-plan living area, defined by soaring 16-foot ceilings and expansive glass sliding doors, effortlessly blends the indoors and outdoors. You'll prepare gourmet meals in the fully equipped kitchen, complete with espresso machine (beans provided), and Vitamix blender. The vast glass doors open to reveal your private resort oasis in the backyard. Other Details to Note

• Pool Heating: With complementary heating, we attempt to keep the pool temp between 80°F to 84°F year round. However, long stretches of cold weather (Jan-March) means that the heat pump might not reach those temps every day during those cold periods (Jan-March). Some guests may feel that this temp range (80°F to 84°F) is too cold during the winter season. If weather permits, we can increase the temperature set point beyond 84°F for a fee of $100/day. • Spa/Hot Tub: The spa is available at 102°F year round and can be adjusted to your ideal temp up to 104°F. • Paved Roads/Dirt Roads: Half way down Plaza del Amigo, the road becomes dirt. From there, it's approx 1 mile of dirt road to the cabin. An SUV is not required, but please drive slowly if your car has low clearance. • Cell phone coverage: Yes, there is cellphone coverage for all major carriers. • Wildlife: this is the rural desert and we share the space with the wildlife. Perfect retreat. The house was bigger and nicer than expected. The host was friendly and responsive. One thing to note: There’s no shade in the backyard, at least not in the winter months, even though it’s quite sunny. But it’s a beautiful place and I’d love to return!

This place was a gem. The house is modern, stylish, and incredibly clean — you can tell the host puts real care into it. But the views are what truly set it apart. The desert landscape stretching out in every direction was breathtaking, especially from the terrace looking at the valley and under the stars at night. Emily is friendly and responsive host, helping us at every step of our stay, when needed. Simple, beautiful, and exactly what we needed. Would book again without hesitation!

Wow. Everything about this place was perfect for us. We sat in the hot tub at night listening to a Great Horned Owl and coyotes. A red tailed hawk sits on the top of the nearby hill every day! Jack rabbits everywhere. The house itself is a marvel. Impeccable design. If you stay here, you will almost certainly spend most of your trip scheming on how you can buy this house or buy a similar property and build an exact duplicate. It's perfectly positioned between Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, Desert Hot Springs and everything this beautiful region has to offer. If JTree/Palm Springs is your destination, you can't go wrong here.

Wir lieben Architektur und deshalb waren wir begeistert von Design des Hauses. Die Konstruktion des Hauses und das Layout sind für Personen, die modernes Wohnen lieben, besonders wertvoll. Die Aussicht und die Vegetation sowie die vorbeilaufenden Kojoten, die Raubvögel und die Wildhasen konnte man vom Wohnzimmer aus beobachten. Den Pool haben wir leider nicht benutzt, aber wir haben den Fuss reingehalten und er war schön warm. Und dass wir wie zu Hause Leinenbettwäsche hatten war wunderbar. Wir sind nicht oft enthusiastisch, diesmal aber schon.

Emily’s home was absolutely beautiful. Our party had chefs among us and she had absolutely everything you could need in the kitchen even an oil thermometer for deep frying. Pool and hot tub were beautiful and great temperatures even in January and the house was clean and super luxurious. Quiet neighborhood, stunning views couldn’t have been happier.

The house is amazing-top-notch design that takes full advantage of the scenery and views. The sunrises over the valley are stunning, and the backyard offers classic Joshua Tree views, perfectly complemented by the pool and hot tub. There are four excellent bedrooms, two of which have private bathrooms. All of them are beautifully designed, very clean, and extremely comfortable. Emily, the host, was super responsive and friendly throughout our stay. An outstanding experience overall, and a place we would absolutely recommend.
